A member asked:

I am a 25 year old female.i have had recurring boils in the groin for over 10 years now.i was still a virgin when it started.what could be the cause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Staph aureus: Recurrent boils are usually, but not always due to staphylococcus aureus. Lancing one of these and culturing it and determining the sensitivity of the causative organism will help the doctor to determine how best to treat this. Hope you are better in the near future.
