Sounds like: that genital "boil" or infection spread to that lymph node and REACTIVE processes (The lymph node being the "first line of defense against this infection) has occurred leading to resolution and FIBROUS tissue. This leaves a lymph gland which is going to be "around for a while". Hope this helps Dr Z
