Hidradenitis?: There are two main possibilities. You might be colonized with bacteria causing recurrent infections, usually staph or strep, in which case prolonged antibiotic treatment might put a stop to it. Or maybe hidradenitis suppurativa, a chronic inflammatory condition that can affect the armpits as well as groin. See your doctor, who might refer you to a dermatologist for expert advice. Good luck!
