Enlarged lymph node: Is the lymph node in the same area as the infection you are being treated with erythromycin? If yes, then it's time to change your antibiotic. If not, the antibiotic still needs to be changed. Please consult your physician again to prescribe the correct antibiotic..

Infection: Tender reactive lymph nodes can happen due to infection in the area that drains lymphatics to that particular lymph node, however anxillar lymph node can signify something that is going on in the same side breast. So get it checked.
