For over 24 hrs i've had a very tender area in my neck under jaw. think it's a deep lymph node but can't feel a lump. could this be an infection?

May not be: This depends how deep your talking. It could be a lymph node it could be your sub lingual glands, it could be your thyroid with a thyroiditis. These are just a few thoughts and it's best to clarify this with your physician
