Listen to your doc: If your heart disease is so severe that you can't undergo restenting, you are not a candidate to have your hernia repair. To have a hernia repair you have to undergo anesthesia, which is a big strain on the heart. Sounds like you have a lot bigger concern than your hernia. Good luck.

Depends: In surgery we weigh risks & benefits. I do not know the extent of your heart disease. If the hernia is not causing significant problems & the anesthetic risks for your heart are high, then surgery not likely recommended. If the surgery was expected to be long & also risk your life from heart disease then surgery not helpful. Your cardiologist & surgeon need to review risks & benefits in detail.

How bad is hernia?: If it does not bother you, is not increasing in size and does not incarcerate (get stuck) then you do not absolutely need to fix it. If, however, the above things are happening or it is a larger hernia thru a small defect in the muscle then it is better to fix it early vs later. Still, anesthesia can cause stress on the heart. Cardiologist will tell you if not it for surgery.
