Repair is normal: Acl repair is standard for most cases as it is so vital to knee stability especially at such a young age. The methods are so refined now that the outcome is usually very good as long as you do your part with rehab. Pcl repair is evaluated at the time of acl reconstruction. Each case is different so see at least one surgeon and then decide.

This is most likely-: -a complete tear or grade 4. Many times the MRI will show an incomplete tear due to an intact synovial sheath, when by manual exam will document a complete tear, & @ the time of reconstruction this is very evident. Buckling of the PCL also shows anterior shift of the tibia which makes the PCL less tight, hense the buckling.
