Which ligament?: The information presented here is incomplete. However, myxoid degeneration is usually not a cause of symptoms/disability. Unless the ACL or PCL is lax (loose), then degeneration of these ligaments is rarely a problem. Also, the menisci (ring-shaped cartilage) can also show myxoid degeneration on an MRI.
