MRIs: are generally very accurate for detecting meniscal and ligament tears of the knee. You can always get a second opinion interpretation of the MRI, or, since it was 6 months ago, try to get a new MRI. Things may have changed since then. Otherwise, see an orthopedic surgeon for further evaluation.
