How do you get evaluated for tailbone pain?

Tailbone : Tailbone pain can be caused by a number of things. Evaluation starts with a history which is important in determining things like injury or other medical problems. Your doctor will then perform a physical examination. And it is important to image the tailbone or coccyx. This can be done with x-rays and a ct scan. Depending on your history an MRI may also be indicated.
