Exercise!: After an injury, activity decreases until healing and there is de-conditioning of the muscles, with loss of strength. This is corrected by gradually increasing strength, often with targeted exercises. Doing exercises DAILY for the low back and abdomen is important. Start slow and increase steadily. Pretty soon your back will be stronger. Consider better shoes, too.

Physical therapy: Have you tried doing some physical therapy? You want to maintain strong muscles in you stomach and back. If you have not done PT then please do!
