Usually not long: Fibroids don't usually cause a lot of cramping after a miscarriage. Other causes of the severe pain should be sought. Make sure you're not having any elevated fever, chills, or abnormal vaginal discharge. Intrauterine infection should be ruled out by your physician if this continues. Occasionally bladder infections can present in this manner also.
