Depends (of course): Post suggests stroke with aphasia, right hemiparesis and dysphagia. Depends on many factors: age, comorbid conditions, stroke severity, etc. A precise prediction of recovery is never possible and to expect one is unrealistic. Recovery is dynamic, not static, & constant reassessment is essential. What matters is how the patient is now because like everyone else, he/she is alive only in the present.
