While eating, i believe my french fry went down the wrong pipe. i coughed for a minute then stopped. im breathing, talking and swallowing just fine but im worried about aspirating food into my lungs. could that be an issue? its been 10 hours?

Unlikely: Any material that would persist in your lung would trigger continuous coughing. It would not stop after a minute unless the material had cleared. Ten hours without a return to coughing fits is enough time to consider this issue passed.
