Mph short acting: Methylphenidate is an effective safe treatment for adhd, but it is very short acting (3-4 hours duration). Please call your doctor to report your successful use and work with her to titrate your medication dosage. Please don't self medicate.

Ritalin (methylphenidate): Not sure if u r taking the immediate release or the extended release. Either way make sure your doc. Is aware of extra dose if it is if form. Would not myself recommend extra dose after 4 pm since it could interfere with sleep.
