Maybe not spleen: The pain you have where your spleen is located might not be related to your spleen but may be something else. I would go back to your doctor who diagnosed you with mono to get an examination.

Splenomegaly: If the pain is actually associated with the spleen this is not surprising in the presence of infectious mononucleosis. The spleen enlarges in this disease and can become quite tender. Must be cautious not to be hit there so that it does not rupture. Your fatigue is also common in mono.
