I had carpal tunnel release two weeks ago. i now have a bad infection and they prescribed antibiotics on sunday not any better why?

May be too early: I sometimes takes time for antibiotics to work. If the surgeon did not open the surgical site to allow drainage, there may be a collection of infection which cannot be accessed by the antibiotics. I would ask the surgeon what you can do now.

Agree: Id call the surgeon back and get seen maybe you need a different drug, perhaps you have a retained suture, best get seen or at least talk to the office.
