Possibly: When doing a colposcopy, we use a solution that allow us to see changes on your cervix. If you have intercourse the appearance of your cervix can change and possibly appear like dysplasia but really be inflammation. Either way- a provider would more likely biopsy than guess. I recommend not having intercourse 3days to a week prior to a colposcopy.
