Yes and No: Rituxan (rituximab) is used to treat certain cancers as well as other non-cancer conditions. In the oncology world, we don't think of it as "chemotherapy" because it is a monoclonal antibody that is selective. We use the term chemotherapy for drugs that non-specifically kill fast-growing cells. We call Rituxan (rituximab) a biologic therapy, not chemotherapy. Hope that helps!
