Are they related?: Simply because both symptoms coexist does not mean they are related. Amongst cardiac problems causes include rhythm disturbance & blood pressure abnormalities. Lung problems include impaired oxygen transport to brain due to perfusion/diffusion issues. Chest tightness is not equivalent to chest pain, altho you may have both. I can think of no neurologic disorder resulting in your 2 (or is it 3).

Chest pain : An ekg does not rule out coronary artery disease. Stress test may reveal coronary artery disease. If stress test is negative and you continue to have chest tightness, coronary angiography is necessary to rule in or rule out coronary disease.
