Depends: If it felt like a ton of bricks sitting on your chest it would be worrisome. A single EKG is not totally diagnostic but a good start.Most Chest pain has to do with what's behind the heart, the swallow tube entering your stomach. Acid backwash can be biting/ painful and drop you with pain. It is aggravated by caffeine/nicotine or laying down after a meal. Keep a diary of events & re-check as needed
