I am feeling tightness in my chest, had a stinging pain in left chest last night and today it is slightly difficult to take deep breaths. will a doctor be able to do an ecg or should i consult cardioligist?

ECG: Yes most PCPs have the capability to perform ECG in the office. That would be a more appropriate starting point to evaluate your symptoms unless you have pre-existing cardiovascular issues then a cardiologist would be better.
