Plant-based: A diet consisting primarily of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes will significantly lower your LDL cholesterol, which is the "bad cholesterol" that leads to vascular disease. A vegan diet is also protective against cancers and can actually reverse diabetes and other inflammatory diseases. The only supplement you will need is vitamin b12. I use and recommend this for almost everyone.
