Exercise is good: Scoliosis is usually without symptoms but the more flexibility and strength you have in your back, the less likely you are to have pain.

Yes: Scoliosis is a lateral curvature of the spine. Most cases are idiopathic (unknown cause). Exercises that are good for peoples backs are good for people with scoliosis. Exercises that are bad for peoples backs (or poor form) are also bad for people with scoliosis. If the scoliosis is mild, it should be a non issue for exercise.
