Bunion surgery.: Unfortunately, there are no braces or exercises to get rid of a bunion. If you elect to have it surgically removed, there are several ways your surgeon could go about it, but the most common involves a bone cut, sliding part of the bone over to make the foot straight again, and a screw to hold everything in place while you heal.
