Sore bone on uppers back lower neck . what is the diagnoses and what caused it? should i see a doctor?

Sore neck/back: Usually related to muscle strain. If not responding to rest and anti-inflammatory medication, it is reasonable to visit doctor. If there are related symptoms that are worrisome (pain radiating down back or arm), it might be more urgent.
