Neck nodes: A CBC blood test is important and an exam by a doctor in person. Many times, enlarged lymph nodes in the neck can be responding to an infection in the throat, sinus or ear. If the nodes are persistently enlarged, then one should be excised by an ENT surgeon and sent for pathology. A neck CT scan can also help.
