Get hearing tested: Speak to your pediatrician about your concerns. start with hearing testing and ear examination. Your pediatrician can evaluate for other problems. You should keep talking to her, read books to her and encourage her to make a sound for what she wants, even if it is not a clear word. The more sounds she makes the more likely she will begin talking.
