Your : Your daughter is lucky that she has you to advocate for her. Eating disorders can be an extremely frustrating, difficult issue. Most patients with eating disorders need prolonged counseling. You could call the hospital program that she was seen at and ask for names of good doctors and counselors in your area. It is not clear to me if she is still seeing the prior counselor, but ongoing counseling is often necessary. There are also day treatment programs available in many areas that the hospital program may be able to tell you about. Many physicians specialize in eating disorders and can advocate for their patients also.
