Sinusitis: A sinusitis can last from 1-2 weeks. Most are viral - meaning antibiotics do nothing and they go away on their own with decongestants and anti-inflammatories (ibprofen). If symptoms are lasting more than 10-14 days then we consider a bacterial cause and antibiotics may be appropriate. I'd start w/ decongestants, neti pot and Ibuprofen first and give it a couple of days.
