Specialists: I recommend that she be evaluated by both a specialist in infectious disease and follow-up with an otolaryngologist for the sinus problem. The specialist can reculture her and order appropriate blood tests to assess her infection fighting status. The MRSA is most likely colonizing her nasal passage rather than causing an active infection now and may or may not require treatment but the specialist

Allergist/Immunologist: Would help you sort it out, history suggestive of colonization rather active infection and chronic sinusitis, allergies to environmental triggers might be the cause, as adenoids were removed twice, and can regrow, hope she is otherwise growing and developing fine. Check aaaai.org or acaai.org for an allergist/immunologist in your area, wish you both wellness
