40-60g/day.: More if you exercise a good amount. Some low glycemic carbs can increase the daily amount. You can "google" "low-glycemic foods, and multiply the carbs by the glycemic index. Whatever you do, weight should come off, if your choice is appropriate!

Under 50: 50 or less should keep you in ketosis. 20-50 should be your range.
