Yes.: That sounds like it should be fine. Check your heart rate during exercise - your should be about 160 for maximal cardiovascular benefit. If it's higher than that, but not higher than 180, then great. If it's lower than that, you may need to up your pace a bit. Any cardiovascular exercise will be beneficial for weight maintenance and health.
