To do what?: Caloric intake is only one issue. Getting enough of the proper nutrients (like proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals) also matters. How tall is she? Is she still growing? What is her body mass index? Is she getting enough exercise? Is she overweight? Underweight? Calorie counting for teens is difficult and usually unnecessary. Portion control is much more effective.
