It depends: Most 15 year old girls will do well on ~1400-1700 calories per day. Girls who are very active or have high metabolisms may require many more calories (olympic swimmers may eat 7000 calories or more a day). It is possible that some girls may remain healthy with fewer calories but a bare minimum is in the ~1100-1200 calorie range.
