Routine examination: You should have routine exams with a baseline examination and some test (visual field test, pressure, tomography, photography of the nerve). Then follow your eye md's advice and they will monitor to make sure there is not changes or progression indicating glaucoma has developed. Typically one would have the pressure checked every 3-4 months if stable, and more frequent if not or changes being.

3 month interval: The standard is to have the pressure checked every three months which will tell your ophthalmologist whether your pressure is controlled and whether your medications are working.
