Amoxicillin: Generally 500mg every 8 hours till gone. Don't miss a dose. Don't take with meals, best one hour before or one hour after a meal if it happens to be close to the 8th hour. 7-10 day course generally. Any hives/rash/breathing problems call your doctor immediately.

Fast answer: Get your self to ad octor you shouldn't be self medicating. Abcesses are caused by more than one thing and they should be treated by different antibiotics.

Depends: Please see a doctor first to determine the exact problem and the extent of it. Usually Amoxicillin is 500 mg 3 times a day. But if the infection is severe, other medications will be considered.
