Can do: While there is no harm taking Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) and Amoxicillin together, i'm not sure that it's necessary. Also, if side effects develop you won't know which medication is the cause. I think it's best to consult a dentist in the long run.

Serious!: I understand that you lost your dental insurance. However, you are dealing with a serious situation. You should not be trying to avoid proper dental care by merely taking antibiotics! antibiotics merely aim to control infection or its spread but will not resolve it! in fact, you may cause it to rear its ugly head even worse. Untreated infections can spread and even kill you. Get proper dental care.
