Yes: If you have a severe infection you may need both antibiotics. This is safe, and if you have any additional concerns you may bring these concerns up with your prescribing dentist or doctor so that you can maintain a good relationship with your doctor.

Antibiotics: Antibiotics will reduce severity and spread of infection, but unless tooth is treated with root canal or extraction. Infection will come roaring back once meds are discontinued. See your Dentist. Don"t mix meds on your own. Dose and duration need to be monitored.
