Case to case: Few times it is intermittent with pain during intussusception and relief when it spontaneously relieves. This might go on and off multiple times. When it is not reducing spontaneously, pain constant until relieved by surgery or radiological reduction. This is a medical and surgical emergency so go to er/doc immediately if suspecting of intussusception.

Varies: The abdominal pain with intussusception is intermittent. It comes and goes. Once the intussusception is resolved the pain will be gone instantly. Treatment may involve an air/contrast enema or surgery if reduction is unsuccessful.
