My sonogram shows thickening of the bladder walls and urinalysis test said i had blood.no pain but i have urinary frecuency. what can this be?

See Dr./get workup.: Painless hematuria, or blood in the urine is an ominous sign that something may be going on in your bladder or kidneys. You are young for a possible cancer here but you might have cystitis or bladder infection. See your doctor for more tests and treatment if it is a cystitis or uti.

Agree with Dr. W.: Abnormal bleeding needs to be evaluated to ascertain the underlying cause. As the treatment depends on the cause.
