Vigorous exercise: Vigorous exercise and losing about 10% of your body weight will help. You may wish to start slowly, but need to work up to vigorous exercise at least 30 minutes a day for 5-6 days a week. Alcohol intake may help, but I do not recommend it.

Good numbers : Those are good numbers except for the hdl. It is nearly impossible to change the HDL level since it is mostly driven by genetics. But all the other numbers are awesome. So i wouldn't worry. Just keep eating well and exercising. The HDL level us being considered less of a problem now than the LDL or vldl or triglycerides.

Lovaza: Whether to treat isolated low hdl-c is controversal. Certainly, an exercise regimen is beneficial and always appropriate. If medical treatement is chosen, Lovaza would a reasonable choice but no current medication is very efficacious and the benefits are dubious.
