Between age 17 & 21: All wisdom teeth should be removed unless contraindicated. Best time to remove wisdom teeth is between 17 and 21 orthodontists(brace speicalists ) may ask you to have wisdom teeth removed sooner anytime you feel prssure from wisdom teeth eruption or have swollen gum tissue surrounding erupting teeth, you should see your dentist for evaluation of wisdom teeth removal.

Ask your dentist: Your dentist is the best person to ask. They check the position of the tooth on an x-ray. Wisdom teeth will cause pain where they are trying to erupt in the mouth. It may be painful to bite down on the last tooth in your mouth. Swelling behind your molars.
