There shouldn't be: Years after an extraction, the site is fully healed. In fact, it's closed up within a month or so, give or take week.

Extraction site food: It most cases the site would be relatively filled in and flat. However there are cases where there might still be some depression where food tends to get stuck. It is more likely that something else is going on and therefore you should see a local dentist to evaluate this.
