Depends: Depends on what kind of lung nodule we are talking here. Is it the benign or the malignant one ( cancer )? Benign nodule like granuloma or scar tissue won't grow. Agressive cancer will grow, on the other hand. If you want to know whether or not it had grown since may to august- you can compare the imaging from may to august and ask your doc or radiologist. You need to know what kind nodule it is?

You're probably OK.: If you had a nodule which didn't change size, on comparable exams (!), from may to august, then it is either benign or very slow-growing. Make sure you have a similar type of exam, and, if it is 5-8mm in size, repeat the exam about one year after the may study. If it is less than 5 mm, you can probably ignore it. If it is more than 8 mm, then you need to have your lungs evaluated thoroughly.
