Depends: Depends on your level of risk (most notably, are you a smoker?) and level of anxiety. Suv is borderline. This may be tumor or infection. If you are or have been a smoker and are not the type that likes to wait, by all means have the surgery. If you are scared by the knife you can wait 3 months, both answers are correct. In my opinion you will end up having the vats at some point.
