Self esteem: Comes from doing things you're proud of and not distorting or denigrating your accomplishments, abilities and basic human worth. If you haven't done anything you think is worthwhile, then do something. If you think negatively and distort or denigrate your accomplishments, abilities or basic worth as a human being, a mental health professional can help you learn to change that.
