A member asked:

Is bilberry effective for cataracts?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: In fact there was a large scientific study of multiple dietary supplements and vitamins that found that there was no decrease in the development or progression of cataracts with their use. Cataracts are the "gray hair of the eyes" - we all get them naturally and if we live long enough we need to treat them. You can try supplements as long as they don't interfere with your health or other medicines.
