Potential Advance: Thus adjustable intraocular lens is exciting technology and potentially an important advance which can help increase the likelihood of not needing glasses after cataract surgery. The lens is made from a special polymer which can be shaped by uv light after surgery. However, this lens is still in clinical trials in the us and there are no long term studies available yet.
