Yes: Direct trauma or repeated trauma (boxers) can cause cataract formation. It can also cause further injury to the lens suspension system that can increase risks in cataract surgery.

Certainly!: The blunt trauma can cause cataract, and also knock the lens loose inside the eye making the surgery a major challenge at times!

Yes: Sometimes the force that hits the eyes is sufficient to carry enough energy to the lens that it will opacify and become a cataract. That in fact is why the name traumatic cataract exists.
